Exciting Announcement From Our Administrator
Our team at Acacia is proud to announce that we have received a deficiency-free survey by the Arizona Department of Health Services, Bureau of Long-Term Care Licensing.
Receiving a deficiency-free survey is the highest honor, allowing us to maintain our CMS 5-star rating and is achieved by fewer than 1 in 10 nursing facilities nationwide.
The annual inspections are unannounced and look through every department. The policies and procedures include nursing, facilities, activities, human resources, dietary and social services. They review active charts, closed charts, interview families/residents, quality measures, environment review, kitchens, personnel files, education compliance, and watch for incontinence care, treatments, medication passes, etc. Our medication error rate was perfect at 0%.
The survey results truly are a testament to Acacia’s dedication to providing the highest-quality person-centered care.
